Roxann is a paralegal and legal secretary currently working on civil litigation cases in real estate matters involving creditors’ rights, fiduciaries, loan servicers, and foreclosure trustees in complex bankruptcy, foreclosure, and lender liability litigation. She assists attorneys with document review, motions, discovery, extensive court filings, and trial preparation.
Roxann received her Paralegal qualification through work experience under the direct supervision of her attorneys and has had the privilege of working in and learning diverse areas of law, such as construction defect, product liability, workers’ compensation, subrogation, and insurance bad faith, while primarily working on civil litigation personal injury matters, including mold/indoor air quality cases.
Additionally, Roxann has over 18 years of experience in the legal field and is a member of the San Diego Paralegal Association and San Diego Legal Secretaries Association, a division of Legal Secretaries, Inc. These memberships provide continuing education to keep members current on changing laws, rules of court, and civil codes. Throughout her career, she has taken several courses in travel agency, insurance, court reporting, and legal procedures.
